1. All issues and problems discussed on this site are subject to condition of confidentiality. All issues discussed by participants on a message board or in a chat room shall be treated as confidential information.

2. The use of profanity in any form is not permitted on this site. If inappropriate language is used; the user will be warned by the moderator. If after three warnings, the inappropriate behavior has not ceased, the user will be blocked from the site. Inappropriate language includes profanity, racial slurs, disrespectful language and sexual innuendos not pertaining to an issue or problem being discussed.

3. All users should be aware that teen sexual issues may be discussed on this site. Some topics may not be suitable for children under 13.

4. This site does not discriminate against any person regardless of race, religion, and creed or sexual orientation. It is a place of open discussion and as such, will not condone discrimination of any sort.

5. Topics of a religious nature are not appropriate. Religious questions are to be referred to the youths own parents, Minister/Rabbi or Sunday school teacher. If the youth has no religious affiliation referral to the yellow pages for religious organizations maybe given.

6. The information gathered on this site will not be sold or shared with any other company. YSA will use such information for documentation of our services for funding purposes and self analysis. Confidentiality of youth will be protected with in the information gathered.

7. Youth Support Association is a mandated reporter. If during the course of a conversation it becomes evident that physical, sexual or mental/emotional abuse are taking place or that neglect of a youths basic needs are occurring then information will be gathered to report to County Social Services for their professional assessment. Over the last 14 years PhoneFriend has filed 10 reports and over the last 7 years Teen Talk has filed 4 child abuse and 2 criminal reports.

8. If a private confidential discussion is preferred utilize instant message for a one on one private conversation with the YSA volunteer or staff.

9. No exchange of personal information, last name, address or phone numbers are permitted on this site between youth visiting the site. Exchange of such information will result in the users being blocked from the site.

10. YSA is providing this site as a safe and confidential place for youth to talk. It is not meant to be a hook-up site for dating. Flirting, sharing descriptions of yourself or exchange of sexual innuendo will result in the moderator blocking you from the site.
